Dr. Booth is the author of The Venus Week: Discover the Powerful Secret of Your Cycle...At Any Age (Da Capo Lifelong Books, 2008).  In The Venus Week, Dr. Booth communicates hormonal changes to women in a way they can understand and empowers them with the knowledge to live well every week of the month.  The Venus Week is her metaphor for the one good week of the month when women experience a peak in estrogen (the “feel-good” hormone) and testosterone (the hormone of “desire”), resulting in enhanced interactions with the world around them.  The book unlocks the secret of this optimal hormonal “recipe”, providing uplifting insights that don’t necessarily end with menopause.

Recognized as a leader in women’s health, Dr. Booth has appeared on The Today Show to discuss the Venus Week and has been quoted in O: The Oprah Magazine, Redbook, Shape, Seventeen, Natural Health, Men’s Health, First, Chicago Tribune, Dallas Morning News and on CBS.com. She is a featured blogger in The Huffington Post and she has also been published in leading medical journals on topics that include preventative health care for women, menopause and hormonal management.
